About the Film

Voice Above Water is the story of Wayan Nyo, a 90 year old fisherman who can no longer fish due to the amount of plastic piling up in the ocean. In a change of pace, Wayan decides to use his fishing boat and net to pull rubbish from the water in the hopes of being able to fish again.
