Volunteer for the AfterImage Film Festival
Great volunteers make the AfterImage Film Festival possible. As a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we depend on the generosity and talents of neighbors across the Fox Valley who run nearly every aspect of the festival — from the box office to filmmaker hospitality.
Volunteer Roles
Box Office & Will Call
Greet guests, scan passes and tickets, and help attendees find their screening at Classic Cinemas Charlestowne 18.
Theater Hosts
Introduce screenings, hand out ballots, and keep each auditorium running smoothly between films.
Filmmaker Hospitality
Welcome visiting directors and cast, help with airport and hotel logistics, and support Q&A sessions.
Events & Receptions
Set up, staff, and strike opening night and other festival receptions across the weekend.
Photo, Video & Social
Capture the festival as it happens and help share it with the Fox Valley community.
Set-Up & Load-Out
Signage, step-and-repeat, décor, and everything that turns a multiplex into a film festival.
